Website of the week

My website of the week this week I found as a result of reading a book called The Dark Net by Jamie Bartlet. The author is the Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media.  Its a good read and a total eye opener.

The book delves into the darker side of  the internet and the absolutely dire behaviour by people online. What fascinated me was a phenomenon called The Online Disinhibition Effect, which you can read about on my website of the week here. I’ve started a discussion about it in Elements Village where people have started to put across some very different views to those I hold.

Challenge photo number 3 coming up.  (At this rate I’m going to be through the list quite quickly.)

Beautiful…the horizontal lines on the ground is the perfect contrast to the vertical walker! LOVE this one!

Thanks, Tammy. I could not make my mind up whether to have this as colour or black and white. I was pleased with this conversion using onOne B&W.

I think the black and white brings out the lines more than color would. If it were in color, I would be looking more at the colors themselves!

What Tammy said! I love, love, love this capture and the black & white seems like a perfect choice to me.

I like the idea of posting a website of the week. I’ve thought about about incorporating more sharing of that type on my blog but am still undecided.

Nice line contrast, and the black and white is perfect for this image.
