Hill Walking

Took a little trip just over the border into Scotland yesterday and walked up this little hill. At the top of Green Humbleton was once a neolithic fort.

Nice little hike to a nice little spot!

That’s quite a stunning view, looking forward to views from the top of the hill. What evidence is left of the Neolithic fort?

The remains of the fort are two terraces cut in a ring around the top of the hill. You can see it on Google Earth if you search for Kirk Yetholm, then look to the Eastish, (108 degrees) for 1.15 miles from the Google place marker. The area is littered with stone age settlements.
