Sad Tales on the Shore

I took a brisk walk behind the dunes from Warkworth to the river mouth, the opposite side of the water from my home. I had hoped to get close enough to some of the waders on the mud flats to get some decent shots of them but, as often happens the photos I took turned out to be very different from those I planned. Two very different pictures both with a sad theme.

I am dying to know the story of the first image…I think you may need to just make up a story lol Fabulous find and wonderfully captured! The tones of the second image really plays with the sad ship wreck. Another fantastic image!

I agree with Tammy. The first image really gets your imagination going and one wonders what tragic happening may have occured.

The forlorn flowers are kind of gut-wrenching. Somehow the little white feather adds to the poignancy.
