Lindisfarne is one of the most beautiful parts of Northumberland. Join Ivor on a led photoshoot to capture the golden hour at sunrise and sunset plus the blue hour on Holy Island.
The workshop will include planning where to be and when. We will also look at camera settings and getting a great composition and depth of field.
These are two-hour workshops will be on Saturday 7th March 2020. The morning workshop will start at 6 am and will finish after 8 am. Or if getting up early isn’t your thing then the Sunset shoot will be from 4 and run for two hours. Full details of where we meet will be issued after booking.
If you are interested in a different date, or want a one-to-one lesson, please click here.
The photoshoots include walking over rough, wet terrain on the Lindisfarne beaches and mudflats and it may be cold. Therefore, suitable clothing and footwear are needed. I use working boots or shoes, layers of warm clothing, a warm hat and gloves. If you wear reading glasses then a neck cord is useful.
You will need to bring a camera and tripod. A smartphone will be useful and apps will be recommended upon booking.
1. Planning a photoshoot. This will be sent to you electronically before the workshops.
2. Setting the camera for landscapes. Including calculating the depth of field.
3. Exposure and metering for the light.
4. Visualising and composing the shot.
5. Positioning to capture different light angles.
If you would rather have this as a one-to-one workshop on another day, or at sunrise. then please contact me for details.
