£186.00£444.00

Description

Who is the Silver Intermediate Course for?

Have you been on one of my Bronze Basic Courses and feel like you want to take things a bit further? This Silver Intermediate Course is also suitable for those who have done the NCFE Level 1 or 2 courses or have a good grip of exposure controls.

What does the Silver Course include?

This course will refresh the basics of photography and then take you up to the next level. We will cover:

Advanced metering modes
Metering compensation and selective exposure
Hyperfocal Distance and manual focus
Advanced focusing.

Composition, The golden section and colour theory.

Discovering your camera and lens limitations
Choosing the right lens for the right photograph.

Flash and mixing different light

Shooting in the gold and blue hours. (can include evening photoshoot, by mutual agreement)
Night shoot (Again by mutual agreement)

An introduction to Raw

HDR
Panoramas

You will get a photography project and ongoing help with your questions answered.

Where is the course held?

The course will be based in and around the Amble area and it’s held outdoors, so will be weather dependent. (In case of blizzards, we will either meet in a coffee shop or postpone the lesson.)
As with all my courses it is hands on and you’ll be taking lots of photographs. There is no writing involved.

What will I need to bring?

You need either a Bridge, Mirroless (CSC) or DSLR camera.
A tripod will be useful, but not essential.

I have mobility restrictions or health issues, can I come on the course?

Yes. I try to make the courses accessible to everyone.

How many people will be on the course?

You can book this alone or with friends. I restrict the courses to family and friends groups of up to four participants.

How long is the course?

You receive a minimum of six hours of training, usually split over my recommendation of three sessions. Some choose to complete it in two days.

What do others have to say about the course?

Please see my 5-star reviews on Google and Facebook.
