Have you been on one of my Bronze Basic Courses and feel like you want to take things a bit further? This Silver Intermediate Course is also suitable for those who have done the NCFE Level 1 or 2 courses.
This course will refresh the basics of photography and then take you up to the next level. We will cover:
Advanced metering and metering modes
Metering compensation and selective exposure
Hyperfocal Distance and manual focus
The golden section
Discovering your camera and lens limitations
Choosing the right lens for the right photograph.
Shooting in the gold and blue hours. (Evening photo shoot, date set by mutual agreement)
Night shoot (Again by mutual agreement)
Raw and image development
You will get a photography project and ongoing help with your questions answered.
The course will be based in and around the Amble area and it’s held outdoors, so will be weather dependent. (In case of blizzards, we will either meet in a coffee shop or postpone the lesson.)
There will be an evening or early morning shoot on this course and the dates and locations will be by mutual agreement.
As with all my courses it is hands on and you’ll be taking lots of photographs. There is no writing involved.
You need either a Bridge, Mirrorless (CSC) or DSLR camera.
A tripod will be useful, but not essential.
Yes. I try to make the courses accessible to everyone.
Although I restrict the courses to six participants, because of social distancing, this one is restricted to three places. I run the courses even if only one person signs up.
