Are you intrigued by landscape photos? Even more so by panoramas. There are landscape photography techniques that you can learn to elevate your images to a new level.
In this one- or two-part workshop, you will discover ways to make your photos stand out from the crowd. That will include creating panoramic images.Â
Panoramas offer a completely different dimension to your landscape photography, and there are techniques you can use to create successful images.Â
Firstly, we will examine the best techniques for shooting landscape photos, discussing how to avoid common pitfalls, thus enabling you to produce compelling panoramic images.
The Two Part Workshop
If you select the two-part workshop ( 2 x 1.5 hours), in the second part we will work on the computer, developing the images then stitching panoramas together.
Finally, we will produce a high-quality print on top-of-the-range A3 paper.
These workshops can take place in and around Amble, Druridge Bay and Alnwick, although other locations like Hareshaw Linn, Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and elsewhere can be arranged.
The workshops are available at sunrise, sunset or daytime. If the weather is poor, we reschedule to a mutually convenient date.
Equipment and lensesÂ
You will need your camera and a wide angle lens. Tripods and ND filters are helpful, but not absolutely necessary. <
What Will We Cover?Â
Included in the workshop are
- Panorama shooting and stitching techniques.
- Composition and exposure training.
- Post-processing in the two-part workshop.
What if I Have Mobility ChallengesÂ
Some of the locations require walking a mile or more over rough terrain. However, Ivor can change the location of the workshop if that is too hard for you.
Group options
Ivor can also run these workshops for small groups of friends. Contact him for a discount if you want to bring two or more people.
