What to Expect on the Absolute Beginners Workshops

You will learn how to set up your camera correctly and achieve sharp shots. You’ll combine those technical skills with the essentials of composition.

The course is hands-on, and you will learn by taking photos. Usually delivered in and around Amble, the workshops can be adapted to the type of photography that interests you.

How Many Lessons Should I Take

Although this is available as a single workshop, Ivor recommends taking a course of at least three lessons, as there is a lot to learn. Spreading that out over a few weeks is a far more effective way of learning. Most people book five lessons.
